Amanda is a 4th year sociology and art double major at UCSB. Centering healing on survivors through artistic approaches that help develop self identity and autonomy as well as self expression is a goal that they are very passionate about and strive to achieve in their work at CARE. They are honored to be part of the CARE team this year and can't wait to grow and heal with you through art!
What Amanda likes to do outside of their work at CARE: "I enjoy embroidering, playing drums in a local Isla Vista band, learning adventure time songs on the piano, and reading/writing poetry!"
