Allison believes that interpersonal violence prevention begins with education and talking amongst friends, family, and peers. Allison's passion for interpersonal violence prevention traces back to high school, and she now researches how we discuss trauma and interpersonal violence within our close relationships. In addition to being a Graduate Student Researcher for CARE, Allison is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Communication at UCSB.
What Allison likes to do out of her work with CARE: "I like to spend time with my dog and friends, relax at the beach, listen to the latest popular audiobook, and try new recipes in the kitchen."
