Graduate Student Researcher
B.A. Communications, Wake Forest University
Bri became passionate about activism in her undergraduate years when she planned a public art project called #DeacsToo to pinpoint sites on campus where people experienced sexual misconduct. That experience revealed to her the desperate need to create a culture that believes survivors and works towards the elimination of interpersonal violence. As the Graduate Student Researcher for CARE, she works on bystander intervention training and prevention education for the graduate student body at UCSB.
What Bri likes to do outside her work with CARE: "I am a trained yoga teacher and love to do work on the beach or outside. But my favorite type of yoga is hot yoga!"
